11 Jan 2005
New York - RedDot Solutions, a leading global provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, today announced it has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Information Technology Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract. The RedDot Solution contract number is GS-35F-0213R, and the contract period is five years with three separate five-year options. This GSA Schedule provides federal agencies with information technology and telecommunications hardware, software, training and professional services.
"RedDot Solutions' products have been well received by federal, state and local government agencies," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "The inclusion of our XCMS™, CMS and LiveServer™ products on the GSA schedule reduces purchasing cycle times and provides our federal customers with a simplified ordering process."
RedDot Solutions' products help organisations to effectively create, manage, and deliver content. Specifically, RedDot helps government agencies fulfill U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requirements including: search, content quality, managed Web linking, privacy, targeted community communication, security and accessibility for disabled persons.
RedDot's Web and Enterprise Content Management solutions have been implemented by more than 1300 organisations, including the Federal Transit Administration, City of Chattanooga, the City of Las Vegas, the Bayside City Council, the City of Miami, the City of Redmond, and Navy FISC.
According to the Federal E-Government MarketView report released last week by market research firm INPUT, Federal agency spending on e-government solutions is expected to increase 38 percent, from slightly more than $4 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2004, to nearly $6 billion by FY 2009.
